The National Transport Commission says that a special bus service will be started for the Sinhala Hindu New Year season from today (07) to next 18th.
Accordingly, its director general, Dr Nilan Miranda, stated that from today until the 15th, buses will run from Colombo to outlying provinces.
“Also, from the 15th to the 18th, more buses will be used for the convenience of passengers travelling from the outer provinces to Colombo and for this purpose around 7000 Langama and private buses will be used”, he said.
