Producing Thriposha for pregnant and breastfeeding women has resumed at Sri Lanka Thriposha Limited (SLTL).
The ongoing dollar crisis forced a temporary halt to Thriposha manufacturing.
The SLTL claims that they resumed Thriposha manufacturing around three weeks ago and have since distributed between 30 and 40 percent of the nation, including Vavuniya, despite fuel shortages and transportation challenges.
The Indian credit line is used to import the grains required for the manufacturing of Thriposha. The SLTL claims that the production is still rather small. It was noted that the SLTL has yet to start producing Suposha, despite the product having a high demand in the market.
