Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa says that despite the agreement to give the posts of the chairman of COPE and COPA committees to the opposition, the members of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna are protesting against it.
Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa has mentioned this while attending the Yapahuwa Constituency Council meeting of Samagi Jana Balavega.
The opposition leader states that the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna is afraid because of the disclosure of corruption by the COP and COPA committees and because of that, they are working to get the same party as the chairman.
