Government Printer Gangani Liyanage said that she will not be able to issue press statements in the near future due to the implementation of the election law.
She mentioned that the printing of ballot papers will be started after a discussion with the Election Commission and that she is prohibited from issuing press statements according to the election law.
She said that the leenth of this year’s official ballot paper is more than the 2019 presidential election ballot paper, and that the entire staff of her organization of around 1200 is working to complete the duties related to the election on time.
