Asela Sampath, president of the All Island Canteen Owners’ Association (AICOA), stated that the prices of Koththu, fried rice, and rice packs had been raised by 10% owing to the increase in fuel prices, and that various other items will be raised as well.
The All Island United Container Transport Owners’ Association announced a 35% increase in freight container transportation prices for import and export effecting from midnight today.
