Senior DIG in charge of the Western Province, DIG DJ. Palihakkara have been appointed.
The appointment was made by the IGP with effect from today for a period of 14 days.
The appointment was made until the Senior DIG in charge of the Western Province Deshabandu Tennakoon returned to duty after completing his leave, according to the Police Headquarters.
