The newly appointed chairman Muditha Peiris says that a request has been made to increase the price of Litro gas.
He says that nearly 3,900 metric tons of gas is currently being unloaded from the ship and no plans have been made for the ships to come after this ship.
He added that discussions had been held with suppliers or not and that it appeared that those in the past had acted irresponsibly.
He says that there is a huge price gap between Litro Gas and Laugfs Gas and that a letter has been sent informing the authorities to increase the price of Litro Gas by around Rs. 200.
