A meeting of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Nations was held with the participation of King Charles III and President Ranil Wickremesinghe has also joined it. There, the President congratulated King Charles III and engaged in a friendly conversation, and Prof. Maithri Wickramasinghe also joined the occasion, the Presidential Media Division said.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe mentioned to the leaders of the Commonwealth countries that the Commonwealth should play a greater role in education reforms that encourage youth participation. The President’s Media Division further stated that the President also asked the Commonwealth to strengthen relations through digitization.
