A senior police officer of the unit said that Pramodya Wickramasinghe, chairman of the National Cricket Selection Committee, will be called to the sports misconduct prevention police unit next Tuesday (21st) in the morning.
The officer who said that Pramodya was officially informed to appear in the unit that morning, also mentioned that he was going to make a statement about the revelation made by Pramodya Wickramasinghe about the World Cup cricket tournament.
The call has been made according to the complaint made by the Ministry of Sports regarding the statement made by Pramodya Wickramasinghe as the Chairman of the National Cricket Selection Committee that there is a conspiracy behind the massive collapse of the Sri Lankan team in the World Cup cricket tournament.
