Popular Kollywood actor Narayanan Vijayaraj Alagarswamy alias Vijayakanth passed away.
Vijayakanth, who is also considered to be the founder of ‘DMDK’ or Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam Party, has died due to the complications of being infected with ‘Covid 19’ or the new coronavirus. He was 71 when he died.
Vijayakanth’s fans call him ‘Captain’ due to his portrayal of many army officers.
After the popularity of acting, Vijayakanth entered politics through ‘DMK’ party in 2005. In Tamil Nadu, the ‘DMDK’ party is an alternative political party that has challenged other political parties.
