Police have asked the public for help in identifying various people involved in the July 14 protest at the Polduwa Roundabout, which included an assault on 26 Security Force and Police employees, damage to public property, and the theft of two guns and ammunition from two soldiers.
Welikada Police and the Southern Range Crime Division are actively conducting investigations. As a result of analyzing CCTV video, the Police have identified numerous activists who are behaving aggressively and are asking public aid in determining their identities.
