In conjunction with the 75th Independence Day, the Cabinet has decided to allow the public to visit national parks, botanical gardens and amusement parks/places for free on February 4 next year.
Also, it is said that the Cabinet has approved reducing the ticket fee by 50% in theatres across the country on February 4 next year and giving the public the opportunity to watch movies.
It is further stated that President Ranil Wickramasinghe has submitted the relevant proposals to the Cabinet.
