The distribution of official notices for the 2024 general election is set to begin on Sunday (27).
Senior Deputy Postmaster General Rajitha Ranasinghe says that the that official notices for the 2024 general election have been accepted by the Department of Posts.
He added that the door-to-door distribution of these official election notices will begin in several regions on Sunday (27).
However, the Senior Deputy Postmaster General said that due to a delay in the process, the distribution will not take place in the Colombo district.
He added that on the 3rd of November, official election notices will be distributed from door-to-door, from 8 am – 6 pm.
The 2024 general election is scheduled to be held on the 14th of November.
