Finance Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said that they will pay the salaries of the government employees before April 10. He also said that the government will provide a special allowance for government employees by the last quarter of this year.
“By the month of April, we will have a big burden on our cash flows. Generally, the salary of the government employee is paid on the 25th of the month, but the salary for the month of April must be paid before the 10th of the month. It is a big burden on cash flow. Pension and prosperity should be given before the 10th”. President Ranil Wickramasinghe informed that it should be paid, so the minister said that the payment will be made using financial means.
