The Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission Janaka Ratnayake states that the power cut will not take place in the morning from today (20).
The Public Utilities Commission states that the decision was taken at the request of the Ministry of Education.
Accordingly, there will be no power cuts from 7.00 am to 12.00 noon for two weeks from today and for two and a half hours between 12.00 noon and 10.30 pm, the Public Utilities Commission said.
