Dr. Bandula Gunawardana, Cabinet Spokesman and Minister of Mass Media, stated that there is a new price formula to decide the price of oil and gas, and that the relevant benefit would be given to the customer based on the growth or drop in the price of oil in the global market.
The Minister was addressing at the Cabinet media briefing held yesterday at the Government Information Department.
The Petroleum Ministry, according to the Minister, will make the pricing adjustments. The oil price review was set for Monday (15), but no changes were made to gasoline prices.
