Japan’s Hokkaido province was rocked by an earthquake. The earthquake that occurred in the early hours of yesterday (11) recorded 6 units on the Richter scale.
Japanese geologists said that the epicentre of the earthquake was 46 kilometres inside the Earth. The earthquake did not cause any loss of life or property.
Japan is located on a tectonic plate boundary. So earthquakes are natural.
