Galle Titans vs Colombo Strikers
The Dambulla Aura team and the Colombo Strikers team managed to win the two matches held yesterday (07) in the 2023 Lanka Premier League cricket tournament. Yesterday the first match was between the Colombo Strikers team and the Galle Titans team and the Colombo Strikers team won the toss and invited the Galle Titans team to bat first. They scored 188 runs losing only 3 wickets in their 20 overs.
Colombo Strikers, who played the reply innings, managed to win the match by 7 wickets after passing their winning target after 19 overs and 5 balls. Babar Azam scored 104 runs and Pathum Nisanka scored 54 runs for Colombo Strikers.
Dambulla Aura vs Jaffna Kings
The second match was between the Dambulla Aura team and the Jaffna Kings team and the Jaffna Kings team won the toss and invited the Dambulla Aura team to bat first. The Dambulla Aura team managed to score 134 runs by losing 8 wickets in their 20 overs.
The Jaffna Kings team, who played the reply innings, managed to score only 125 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs and thus the Dambulla Aura team managed to win the match by 9 runs.
