Further strengthening the presence of KTM motorcycles in Sri Lanka following their
reintroduction by David Pieris Motor Company (Private) Limited (DPMC), the latest showroom,
KTM Peliyagoda, was recently opened in Peliyagoda at No. 389, Negombo Road, Peliyagoda.
Mr. Naalaka Madugalle, Director and Chief Operating Officer, David Pieris Motor Company
(Private) Limited along with Mr. Lakmal de Silva, Chief Officer – Vehicle Sales, Mr. Akila
Elabodage, Divisional Manager – Vehicle Sales declared opened the new dealer showroom.
The new state-of-the-art showroom offers motorcycle enthusiasts the opportunity to experience
KTM’s globally renowned range of performance motorcycles, including the Duke 160, Duke 250
and Adventure 390 X models.

DPMC officially reintroduced KTM motorcycles to Sri Lanka earlier this year after a five-year
hiatus, once again enabling local riders to experience one of the world’s leading high-
performance motorcycle brands.

Globally recognised as Europe’s No. 1 racing motorcycle brand, KTM has established a
dominant presence in premier international racing arenas including MotoGP, the Dakar Rally,
motocross championships and leading global racing circuits. The brand also enjoys strong
popularity across regional markets such as India and Nepal, while maintaining a footprint in
more than 80 countries worldwide. KTM’s rich racing heritage, engineering excellence and
consistent track performance have earned the trust of professional riders and motorcycle
enthusiasts around the globe.

Renowned for their aggressive styling, bold design language and racing-inspired engineering,
KTM motorcycles are powered by high-performance liquid-cooled engines paired with 6-speed
transmission systems. The motorcycles also feature lightweight split trellis frames and advanced
WP APEX USD suspension systems, delivering superior handling, stability and acceleration.
Selected KTM models are equipped with advanced rider-focused technologies including dual-
disc dual-channel ABS with four-piston radial-mounted callipers, ride modes with Supermoto
ABS, ride-by-wire systems, slipper clutches, Quickshifter+ functionality and modern TFT colour
displays with multiple smart features, ensuring enhanced safety, control and riding exhilaration.
As the sole authorised distributor for KTM motorcycles in Sri Lanka, DPMC has already initiated
plans to establish an extensive islandwide showroom and service network, with KTM
Peliyagoda marking another important milestone in this expansion journey.

Customers can contact the KTM Peliyagoda on 077 077 8051 for inquiries and to experience
the unique world of KTM motorcycles.
