Britain’s new defence secretary, John Healy, visited Odesa, Ukraine and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The new defence secretary emphasized that the new British government, like the previous government, will assist Ukraine whenever it needs it.
Odesa is the port city of Ukraine. Odesa is constantly bombarded by Russian forces. This visit to Ukraine can be called John Healy’s first foreign visit after becoming the British Defense Secretary.
The British Defense Secretary has also made it clear in a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskiy that Ukraine will be given weapons, ammunition and missiles to fight with Russian forces. (Reuters)
