On April 25, 2024, ITC Ratnadipa, the newest ultra-luxury hotel in Colombo, will open under the auspices of President Ranil Wickremesinghe. Santosh Jha, the Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, and Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena will also be present at the ceremony. Situated on Galle Road in Colombo 01, the ITC Ratnadipa Hotel marks the debut of ITC Hotels’ first international hotel, which is located in our country’s capital.
It is reported that this hotel has been built by WelcomHotels Lanka Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Indian company ITC Ltd. Situated on 5.86 acres with a magnificent view of Beira Lake and the Indian Ocean, the 350-key ITC Ratnadipa property is home to Sapphire Residencies, a high-end residential development.
This super hotel has the first AHASA ONE Sky Bridge (100 meters above the ground) in Sri Lanka.
