The launch ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Mr Arthur Cheng Anxiang – Deputy General Manager of Sinopec Fuel Oil Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., Mr Scott Shi – Business Supervisor of Sinopec Energy Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., Mr Jayashantha Thotahewage – Director/Chief Executive Officer of Interocean Lubricants (Pvt) Ltd., Hon. Charles Nirmalanathan – Member of Parliament, Mr Thanabalasingam Jayaseelan – Jaffna Municipal Commissioner, Mr Chamly Palihena – Police Headquarters Inspector of Jaffna, and Mr Suranga Premaratne – Traffic OIC Jaffna.

The event also saw the participation of key regional stakeholders, including Sinopec Lubricant distributors, Sinopec Fuel Station owners, customers, and service technicians, reflecting the collaborative efforts to strengthen the lubricant distribution network in the region.

Elaborating further on the expansion, Jayashantha Thotahewage, Director-CEO of Sinopec Lubricants Sri Lanka stated “We have already established a robust distribution network with 20 distributors across all provinces, and the expansion into Jaffna signifies the company’s commitment to reaching every corner of the country. The diverse product portfolio delivers unmatchable lubrication solutions that optimize the performance of any vehicle, delivering enhanced power and durability on the road throughout. Our product range includes Justar (J Series) passenger car motor oil (PCMO), Tulux (T Series) Diesel engine oil (DEO), X series motorcycle engine oil (MCO), gear & industrial oils, hydraulic oil, greases, tractor oil, marine oil, and transformer oil – all meeting the highest international standards and quality. “
