Minister of State Shehan Semasinghe says that the Central Bank has given instructions to the relevant banks to provide relief to the creditors who are in difficulty repaying the loans taken from the commercial banks.
The minister also mentioned that due to the increase in interest rates, people who receive monthly wages and small and medium businessmen are suffering.
Accordingly, the State Minister further stated that if the relevant banks do not provide relief to the creditors, they can directly request the Central Bank for the same.
