The maximum fee to be charged by a registered photographer for taking digital photocopies of a person applying for an identity card or a duplicate of an identity card has been increased to Rs.400.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Public Security issued an extraordinary gazette notice stating that the price mentioned in the gazette issued earlier in 2016 would be cancelled.
Earlier the maximum fee charged for this was Rs.150.
