Import duty on maize has been lowered

The Minister of State for Finance, Ranjith Siyambalapitiya says that it has been decided to lower the import tax imposed on maize.

Accordingly, the State Minister further stated that the import duty of 75 rupees imposed on 01 kg of maize has been reduced to 25 rupees.
