A suspect was detained by Badulla Police in connection with the double homicide that occurred at a home in the Hingurugamuwa neighborhood of Badulla yesterday, where another woman also suffered significant cut wounds.
Two women’s remains were discovered by police H.M. RM and Ranmanika (85). On Saturday (10), Jayavathi (55), the mother and daughter, believed they had been murdered on either Friday night (9) or Saturday morning.
