According to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, 556,395 foreign tourists have visited Sri Lanka in the first 5 months of this year.
The Tourism Development Authority said that 105,159 tourists from Russia, 99,147 tourists from India and 45,108 British tourists have come to this country and 31,909 foreign tourists have come in the first 11 days of this month.
The same authority further states that only 378,521 foreign tourists had come to Sri Lanka in the first 5 months of last year.
