A special central committee meeting of the Government Medical Officers’ Association has been called today (10), said Dr Chamil Wijesinghe, the media spokesperson of the association.
Accordingly, he said that a final decision will be taken regarding the future measures taken against the government’s new tax policy.
He further stated that the Professionals’ Trade Union Collective has had a discussion with the Ministry of Finance today (10) and there is no confidence that this problem will be resolved.
