Sri Lankan YouTuber Rathidu Suramya alias Ratta has been arrested by the Slave Island Police today.
The Police said Ratta had been arrested on several charges, including illegal assembly.
The Slave Island Police had arrested Ratta after he had arrived at the Police Station to record a statement.
Ratta is known as a key figure who had participated in the anti-government protests at the Galle Face Green in Colombo, now underway for over 50 consecutive days.
