Mass Media Minister Bandula Gunawardena says that a system will be introduced this year where people can get the bus and train tickets through QR technology without using physical money.
He added that in some provinces, bus drivers and conductors do not hand over the required passenger ticket fares to the depot, and as a solution to this, he hopes to introduce this new technology that does not use cash.
