Former Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne has been named as a suspect in a case in which he was accused of providing facilities to a suspect in the abduction and forced disappearance of 11 individuals in Colombo and its suburbs.
The case has been filed over alleged abductions that reportedly occurred between 2008 and 2009.
