Today (09) is Easter Sunday. Easter commemorates Jesus Christ’s resurrection from death. It is said that the Christian devotees who spend the forty-day Easter Devotional season are fasting and participating in religious rituals and join this festival today.
A special service will be held in all Christian churches today and special police protection has been provided to all churches, the police media spokesperson said.
