The Simpsons‘ strange forecasts have constantly shocked people all across the world throughout the years. The internet was once again in amazement after a few tweets from the well-known American comedy went viral, stating that the program had predicted the demise of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. Unfortunately, the claims are again unsubstantiated.
Queen Elizabeth’s death has been represented in a variety of viral videos, memes, and pictures. These posts have been viewed millions of times, and people are responding by commenting and sharing them several times.
However, some websites have claimed after fact-checking that these images and videos from the animated program are fake and changed. The truth is that the show hasn’t yet featured the late monarch’s passing in any of its episodes.
A cartoon depiction of Queen Elizabeth is depicted resting in a coffin with the words “Elizabeth II 1926-2022” printed on the side in one viral video. Many websites have claimed that this video has been tampered with. Prior to Elizabeth, a similar fake film featured the late President Donald Trump sleeping in a casket and claiming that he would die from an illness known as COVID-19.
Another popular video shows a scenario from episode 4 of season 15, “The Regina Monologues,” in which the Simpsons are on holiday in the UK when Homer accidentally strikes the Queen’s carriage with his car.
When the camera zooms in to view the letter with her true death date, the Queen steps out of the carriage and Homer speaks to her.
The whole video is genuine, with the exception of the closing portion, which was spliced into the original broadcast.
People immediately spotted the modified version and stated, according to NYP, “That particular date was never included in the original. Excellent effort.
Someone another said, “By the way, nice edit. I just wanted to let you know that you missed a couple of frames.
Only six episodes of “The Simpsons” have included Queen Elizabeth, according to Politifact, and none of them depict her death or even mention it.
