Death threats to another member of the Election Commission

It is reported that MM Mohammed, a member of the Election Commission, has also received death threats over the phone to resign from his position.

After informing the chairman of the commission in this regard, he has also complained to the Criminal Investigation Department and he has been provided with police protection.

Rohana Hettiarachchi, the Executive Director of Paffaral, said that death threats have been made to three members of the Election Commission and all those threats have been made through WhatsApp from the same phone number.
