Colombo Vs Kandy

The Galle team who played the first innings of the National Super League four-day cricket tournament between Dambulla and Galle yesterday (20th) scored 339 runs against the Dambulla team.
Thus, the Galle team managed to be 184 points ahead of the Dambulla team.
All the batsmen of the Dambulla team were dismissed for 155 runs yesterday and the Galle team had collected 90 runs by losing 3 wickets at the end of the previous day. Senior player Angelo Mathews scored 82 runs for the Galle team yesterday. Mathews’ innings included 8 fours and he remained at the wicket for 144 balls. Captain Ramesh Mendis and Kavishka Anjula also scored two fifties for Galle. Asitha Fernando and Vishwa Fernando, who bowled brilliantly for the Dambulla team, took 3 wickets each.
