The Supreme Court has ordered to convene on the 12th to consider three fundamental rights petitions filed demanding that the fundamental rights of the public be violated through the imposition of emergency regulations.
It is said that the petitions have been called before the Supreme Court bench of Justices Yasantha Kodagoda and Arjuna Obeysekera.
The petition was filed on behalf of the Liberal Youth Movement by its co-conveners, lawyers Namini Panditha and Rusiru Egodage.
