Ceylon Electricity Board has entrusted those responsibilities to the members of the restructuring committee.
8 members are included in this committee appointed as per the approval of the cabinet.
Accordingly, the restructuring proposals are to be given within a month with the technical support of various development institutions.
Below are the respective committee members,
- Former Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Dr. R. H. S Samaratunga
- Former Secretary of the Ministry of Power and Energy M. M. C. Ferdinando
- Former Additional General Manager of Ceylon Electricity Board, Dr. Susantha Perera
- Thilan Wijesinghe, former chairman of the board of investment
- Chairman of Petroleum Development Authority and Director General of Port City Economic Commission Saliya Wickramasuriya
- Former Legal Adviser of Public Institutions Restructuring Commission, President’s Attorney Nihal Jayawardena
- Harsha Fernando, former senior legal officer of the Attorney General’s Department
- Chandana Wijesinghe, Director of the Ministry of Electricity
