In the recent Cabinet meeting chaired by the President, the Cabinet has approved the amendments to the Penal Code.
Minister held on 18.01.2021 and 2021.06.28 to introduce amendments to the Penal Code to amend the laws on statutory rape mentioned in the Penal Code, to correct the existing loopholes in the law related to rape and to criminalize the rape of boys It is stated in the relevant announcement that the approval has been given in the board meetings.
The Minister of Justice’s proposal to publish the Bill in the Government Gazette and then submit it to the Parliament for approval has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
