The cabinet has approved the proposal to restrict the travel of ministers, state ministers and members of parliament from the government side during the days of the meetings of the parliament and during the budget debate.
According to the relevant cabinet decision, it is stated that they should not travel abroad during that period except in case of urgent medical needs or in case of very urgent government work.
Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena has submitted the relevant proposal to the cabinet.
