The Colombo District Court issued an interim injunction today preventing the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) from implementing its decision to suspend the party membership of Member of Parliament Dayasiri Jayasekera.The order was issued following consideration of a complaint filed by Jayasekera, said Ada Derana reporter.However, the Colombo District Court dismissed the request by MP Dayasiri Jayasekera for an order preventing interference in his functioning as the General Secretary of the SLFP.

Three people, including the suspect, were fatally shot during a Rhode Island youth hockey game Monday, authorities said.Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves told reporters that three other victims were hospitalized in critical condition.
