A British national has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake with over 43 kg of ‘Kush’ cannabis worth more than Rs. 440 million.The 21-year-old passenger had arrived at the BIA from Bangkok, Thailand onboard a SriLankan Airlines flight at 9.15 a.m. this morning (26).A total of 43.648 kg of Kush cannabis was found concealed inside his luggage while the seized drugs are estimated to be worth over Rs. 440 million.
