A total of 26 individuals have been injured in a road accident that occurred along the Colombo-Batticaloa main road in Batu Oya, Minneriya, police stated.According to police, the accident happened around 3:00 a.m. today (12), when a bus traveling from Maduroya towards Colombo collided with a tipper truck heading in the opposite direction.The injured individuals have been admitted to the Polonnaruwa, Minneriya, and Hingurakgoda hospitals.Hospital sources have reported that the condition of several of the injured is critical.The Minneriya Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
