Minister of State for Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya says that they will look into revising the opening and closing hours of liquor stores.
Regarding the opening and closing hours of liquor stores, the Minister points out that it is an invitation to illegal liquor dealers in a casual way. Accordingly, it has been proposed to practically change the opening hours of the liquor stores, he added.
Also, according to the demand for liquor licenses, the license fee should be increased to get revenue for the government, the minister further stated.
