Under the guidance of Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, the Stage III medical camp was conducted at the Abhimansala 3 Wellness Resort, Pangolla, on 28 March 2025. This initiative aimed to address the healthcare needs of approximately 1500 disabled veterans in the Kurunegala area.
The Directorate of Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation organized this medical camp focusing on providing essential support, particularly for veterans in need of prosthetic limbs or surgical devices. Around 1500 military personnel benefited from the camp. The services offered included health consultations, prosthetic maintenance, mental health counselling, and personalised dietary advice. Specialist clinics for dermatology and dental care were also available.
