JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake says that in order to solve the current crisis situation, a citizen’s rule should be established in the country and all parties should work together to get a new parliamentary mandate.
Meanwhile, he also stated that some MPs of the Samagi Jana Balawega secretly voted for Ranil Wickramasinghe during the voting held in the Parliament to elect the President.
He mentioned that Ranil Wickramasinghe got 134 votes that day but they did not go to the government and they voted secretly.
However, JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that it can be revealed when the parliament convenes on the 27th and votes for the adoption of emergency regulations and that the vote is not a secret vote.
Accordingly, Anura Kumara Dissanayake predicted that the people who voted for Ranil as President will raise their hands against the emergency law on the 27th.
