Angelo Mathews, the former captain of the Sri Lankan team, has been infected with Covid.
The Sri Lanka Cricket Institute stated that the rapid antigen test conducted due to his illness yesterday (30) has confirmed that he has been infected with Covid.
Accordingly, he has now been quarantined and Oshada Fernando will be called to the team in his place, Sri Lanka Cricket further stated.
