The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has informed the public to beware of online scams.
In a statement, the Central Bank mentioned that it is possible to lose hard-earned wealth, so be aware of such scams.
In addition, the Central Bank has informed the people about the way some fraudsters conduct their advertising programs.
The Central Bank requests the people not to be fooled by various statements made by fraudsters to establish trust and if any kind of clarification is required, the issues can be directed to the email address cbslgen@cbsl.lk.
