Nabisada’s killing has been a cause of strong protest in western countries, including the United States. Nabisada was elected to the Afghan Parliament in 2018.
As the American troops left Afghanistan in 2021, many parliamentarians of the Western-backed government fled Afghanistan. That’s because when the Taliban come to power, their lives are in danger.
