The government of Israel has ordered that all Palestinians living in the northern part of the Gaza Strip must move to the southern part of the Gaza Strip within the next 24 hours.
1.1 million Palestinians live in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The United Nations has expressed fear that forcing them to go to the southern part of the Gaza Strip in a short period will create a great human tragedy.
The Israeli government has decided to evacuate the Palestinians from the northern part of the Gaza Strip because they have decided to increase their attacks on that part.
Meanwhile, Khalid Mashal, the former leader of the Hamas organization, has requested that Muslim people living all over the world unite in protesting against Israel by expressing support for the innocent Palestinians who are suffering from Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip.
Foreign media say that former leader Khalid Mashal has asked the neighbouring Muslim countries of Palestine to unite to fight against Israel for the sake of the Palestinian people who are continuously being wronged.
Mashal, the former leader of Hamas, who is currently in Qatar, is the head of the foreign diaspora office of the Hamas organization. Foreign analysts point out that Khalid Mashal’s statement to unite the Muslim population against Israel is an invitation to Islamic Jihad extremists. (BBC)
