Gautam Adani, one of India’s leading businessmen, has bought a majority stake in NDTV, one of India’s leading television companies, the country’s media reports.
After the share transaction, the original owners of the television company have stated that Adani has bought the shares without their consent.
In response, the Adani company states that according to its financial ownership, it has purchased 29.18% of the shares of NDTV and in addition to those shares, it is expected to buy another 26% of the shares in the future.
